The Banpo Village Remains is one of the oldest historical sites. The village thrived 6000 years ago during the Neolithic Age. The City Wall in Xian is China's most well preserved structure and the biggest wall of ancient times. It was built around 100 BC by the Han dynasty.

The mausoleum of Xuanyuan, a Tang emperor, also known as the Yellow Emperor, is among them. Xuanyuan is credited with having started the Chinese civilization.
