Dumplings (jiao zi) are the quintessential Chinese food that have been around for more than 1,500 years. Local people eat a lot of dumplings because they are delicious (hao chi). When you  come to Xi'an, why not try them?

During the dumpling banquet you will get to try thirteen kinds of dumplings each made to create different flavours, different colours and even different shapes using different produce.

Watch out though! If it is 'jiao zi' season for you, you may start to look like a jiao zi yourself!
